Maruczella is a performance which links humour and original atmosphere of silent movies and the Federico Fellini's cinema. It creates amazing spectacle, which, from very beginning, snatches the audience.
Nostalgic and funny moments are focusing people's attention till the last seconds of the performance. Loosing sense of time and presence we are moving with the actors to the Old Railway Station, where the smoke of forgotten steam locomotives is inviting us for the romantic journey.
Journey during which delicate actors' play, like a woven lace, is painting in front of us pictures of wooing, courtship, flirts and amorous scenes. It is a perfect mixture of mime with dance and comic scenes. "Maruczella" not only amuses but simultaneously it wakes up warm nostalgic sigh for the unique times that have gone.

Reviews
The Nikola Theatre's proposition is a magical performance. It confirms the thesis that after a period of searching and experimenting, live theatre returns to its sources.

The best performance I've ever seen. This verse, this comedy! A great idea to present silent movies!
