ABOUT THEATRE

Theatre of the poetic mime, body motion and expression.

It combines elements of silent cinema style, modern dance, comedy, circus art and acrobatics. All performances are mimes where music, body motion and gestures are the most important.

The biggest emphasis is put on humour and positive energy which makes easier for spectators to enter into the show and experience it collectively with actors. Thanks to the established connection between the artists and the audience, viewers can leave the performance full of positive emotions and readiness to continue connection with art.

In our repertoire there are plays designated on a stage as well as for open air. Variety of forms, richness of content and a large dose of humour cause that people of all ages can be the audience of the Nikoli Theatre's work.

Form

Many years of Nikoli Theatre's artistic activity allows us to develop a unique body language which is used in performances, workshops and theatrical actions.

Through a unique and characteristic form based on the motion and expression of the body we awake in audience attraction to art. The goal of each performance is to encourage people to be creative and find their own ways of artistic expression
in their daily lives.

Awards

Both Nikoli Theatre and its actors have been appreciated many times by awarding many prizes.
